Fresh Fruit and vegetable, reasonable cost, at local garden!
MIMOSA PLACE Garden Spot in Lafayette, LA.
Who knew! One person can really make a difference. You can pick your own berries (a 1 gallon bucket) for a small donation. You can purchase vegetable plants, some for as little as a $1.00 and you can purchase excess for pennies on the dollar. This little spot is one of Lafayette's best kept secret...maybe not any more.
The owner, so I was told is a retired ULL professor (agriculture science related) and does this as a hobby. What a hobby. Anyway, I love it. And once you visit, you will too!
